The photo album I ordered for Maya's scrapbook arrived in the mail today, and of course, Maya was all over it! After removing anything dangerous or destroyable, she enjoyed playing in the box. Too cute.

With Maya being so mobile now, we are struggling to find a place to lay her down for a nap. She doesn't like sleeping in her crib, and she prefers we lay next to her for awhile. Since she can crawl off the bed easily, we've resorted to laying a blanket on the floor. This has worked pretty well. Here she is fast asleep.Monday, March 2, 2009

Maya has been loving any version of Peek-a-boo lately. You don't even have to hide behind something completely, just hide your eyes and pop back out and she's in love.What's going on over there?

Maya does not like being trapped with this gate! However, we have found that if you maneuver it around one of the sofas, we can actually get something accomplished and she can play relatively on her own. I guess its comforting in a way that she likes us being near.

The weather has been very variable lately. Today was a cold day. We decided to go out to dinner tonight and as such got Maya all bundled up. Her hair was pretty crazy after we took off her hat. I can't believe how long her hair is getting!
