I love how you are simply staring at the camera in this picture. Showing off your beautiful big brown eyes and gorgeous long eyelashes! Happily we had an enjoyable evening during which you carted blankets and pillows from one end of the living room and back. I can't say so much for our afternoon. I was busy trying to get your new gate installed, and you weren't too happy with me confining you to your pack-n-play. But after some cuddles and a nice afternoon nap, everything turned out alright, and now the living room is officially "baby-proofed!"

I know I've said it so many times, but I love watching you grow. You are constantly testing us with your desire to explore. Today we simply couldn't keep you in the living room, you kept finding a little hole you could wiggle through. We've decided that despite our lack of handiness around the house, we are going to have to put up a gate. Guess we are going shopping tomorrow!

Daddy got off early today since he had to get re-certified in BLS, so we took advantage of the warm temperatures and went to the zoo. You actually liked the swings today! Hooray! I've always wanted you to enjoy swinging.

Today was the first really warm day of the year. The news said temperatures reached 91 degrees. It was nice feeling the warm breeze, and I was finally able to dress you in some of your summer clothes. You are quickly out-growing the 9-12 month clothes, better get our use out of them! I love this picture of you while having a snack at Starbucks. What a beautiful profile!

You are such a strong baby! It is so much fun watching you walk around and explore. Today you were enjoying playing with the ribbon on your diaper bag. Whenever you are really focused on something, you make this "aghhhh" sound.
