This time we were able to see Dr. Dooley (we like her so much!) and she put Maya on a nebulizer instead. Although Maya didn't like being swaddled and having something cover her mouth and nose, crying for about 10 minutes was much better than throwing up and crying for nearly an hour like the night before. She seems to be feeling better already, and her lovely smiles are back!

Trying something new
Friday, January 16, 2009 -- Trying something new
Maya was prescribed three different medications for her RSV, in addition to needing stuff squirted up her nose to clear things out. Poor thing, she hated every bit of it and had a hard time keeping the medication down (i.e. projectile vomit all over Maya, me, and the glider last night.) When she had trouble with it earlier today, I talked with AJ and we decided to call her doctor's office and see what they said. They thought it would be best to have her come in again and see if we can change the form of her medications.
